Thank you for choosing the Saline American Legion for your special occasion. Please read our rules pertaining to rental of our hall and/or kitchen facility and share them with your caterer, decorator, etc.

• Our hall is non-smoking. The only place to smoke would be outside or in our lounge.
• We are not responsible for any items lost, stolen, or left behind.
• Decorations in our hall are fine as long as they do not cause any damage to structure, paint, walls, etc.
• You will be allowed a period of time prior to the start of your event to decorate. Further time may be allowed if nothing else is booked at that time, per manager's discretion.
• You may qualify for a member discount on the hall rental if you have been a Saline Legion dues paying member for a year and in good standing.
• Member discount is only for hall renter for your own personal use or you and your immediate family - you cannot rent the hall for others.
• Manager of duty is responsible to adjust temperature, or get anything needed out of storage area, etc. - renters are not allowed to do any of the above.
• Renters also will not move the hall set up around once it is finished. this set up will have been established by the renter ahead of time and remain as is.
• There will be no alcoholic beverages allowed outside.
• Renter cannot bring their own alcohol into the Legion. If they need a bar for their event, they will pay for a Legion bartender determined by the manager to service their guests. Bar details determined in advance by the renter.
• All guests of any event must show proper identification in order to purchase or consume alcohol according to the law.
• Kitchen will be locked unless renter has paid appropriate fees for its use.
• Renter must use a licensed caterer and proved their information to the manager prior to event. Exceptions would be renter has Legion catering event, or renter is bringing in munchie type foods and signs waiver for full responsibility for everything served. All to be pre-determined in advance upon meetings between manager and renter.
• The renter may get a full refund of any monies paid or deposited, providing they give at least a two month notice of cancellation.
